Pros are by invitation only. The committee takes every care to ensure that only the ones perceived to be best in field are invited. If any opinion differs, we apologise.
Pros are expected to provide sufficient time for system discussion.
Pros are expected to treat their partners with respect and courtesy. Any untoward incident will result in docking of partial fee – without recourse or argument.
Eligibility for participation for Ams in order of priority
All patrons of the game – those who sponsor teams with some frequency, or financially contribute towards advancement of game in India – are eligible.
Senior Life Master and above are not eligible, subject to A.
If one derives an income as a player, or if one’s expenses for participation are frequently borne by others, they are not eligible.
All others are eligible.
General Conditions
The ProAm event will be approx. 54 board IMP pairs.

Draw for partnerships – October 7, 2026
There is no entry fee to enter the tournament. The fee paid by you will be the professional fee paid to your partner.
The professionals will get paid a flat fee of Rs 50,000 irrespective of whether they are sought to be partnered or participate in the draw.
If you decide to select your partner, you agree to pay Rs 50,000 as professional fee to your partner, and agree to contribute Rs 100,000 to prize pool.
The prizes to prize winners will be paid equally to both partners via cheque/account transfer.
TDS will be deductible as per applicable rules.
The entry is non-transferable. Only those players who register will be permitted to play the event.
The partnership draw is final. No change of partner or redraw is permitted. You can not back out because you did not expect to play with the player you got drawn with.
If you decide not to play, the professional fee will be forfeited.
You may be permitted to withdraw before the draw takes place if, and only if, there are waitlisted entries.
The total fee is to be deposited before the draw takes place.
